Favorite Albums of 2009

Today marks the last day of December, 2009, and the decade. Half of me wants to be really deep and reflective and find something crazy smart to say about the year. The other half just wants to count down my favorite albums of the year. I think I'm going to do that instead.

Give the Gift of Love at Emerson College

Tonight at 7pm Emerson Good News Fellowship (EGNF) is hosting a Krochet Kids Christmas Party to raise money for women in Northern Uganda. We will be selling KKi hats and the proceeds of those sales will go to the women who knit the hats. It's a great way for people to get a sweet hat and help those in need. I'm pretty stoked for tonight, I've been working on this for the past two weeks and its really coming together. Students on campus are excited and I really think it will be a successful event. In addition to sending hats we're going to have free food/cookies/punch, a live DJ from WERS, a gift wrap/christmas card making table, a photobooth, and a presentation of what Krochet Kids International is doing in Northern Uganda to help these women out of poverty. Please pray just not only for these women but that ENGF will be known on campus through the event and that we will have opportunities to share our faith with others. Awesome sauce!
